In a run-up to the release of Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, late-night host Jimmy Kimmel is going to be hosting a Marvel Superhero week, offering not just one but many of the films Marvel looks to release in the coming month.
Starting on Monday the 11th of April, Kimmel will host Team Captain America with Chris Evans (Captain America), Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), Anthony Mackie (Falcon) and the latest to join the party, Paul Rudd (Ant-man).
On Tuesday night, you will get to see none other than Benedict Cumberbatch, the star of the soon to release Doctor Strange movie. During the one hour, you will get to watch none other than the first official trailer for the upcoming feature film.
Evening the odds on Wednesday is Team Iron Man, with Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter), Paul Bettany (Vision) and the soon to be revealed Black Panther, Chadwick Boseman.
Come Thursday and it’s all about Thor (the day was named after the guy after all). Chris Hemsworth, the god himself, will be advertising the sequel to the Snow White and the Huntsman film. If that wasn’t enough there a good chance he will be carrying some exclusive looks at Thor: Ragnarok, set for release in November 2017.
When people talk about Marvel they are normally discussing either the comics, the movies or the characters that feature in or both of the former. With some of the largest movies released (and with them only seeming to increase in both size and reception) it is only natural that people look to them when they think of heroes. Now the studio is looking for real life heroes in the form of female scientists.
In partnership with the national Academy of Sciences’ Science and Entertainment Exchange, Marvel has launched a program in the hopes of finding female applicants who are interested in STEM subjects (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics).
The project titled Girls Reforming the Future Challenge is open to girls aged 15 to 18 and submitted projects need to include a short video demonstrating their idea and then explaining how far-reaching its potential is.
Five finalists will be picked to present their projects to a panel of experts and visit the red carpet at the release of Captain America: Civil War on April 12th. Alongside this, they’ll get to tour Walt Disney Studios, receive $500 from Synchrony Bank and one lucky winner will get an internship at Marvel studios itself.
Season 2 of Netflix’s Marvel series Daredevil has its first official trailer, and it’s all about The Punisher (The Walking Dead’s Jon Bernthal), though it does tease the arrival of another familiar name in its closing seconds. See for yourself:
“Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell’s Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios,” the trailer notes read. “Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood. Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero.”
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Daredevil showrunner Doug Petrie promised that the new season will be faster-paced, while also playing the relationship between Daredevil and The Punisher as a morality play.
“Viewers watching the show will be rooting for this guy with a gun but we’re also going to force people — the way we force Matt — to second-guess themselves,” Petrie says. “Taking lethal justice into your own hands in America in 2015 is tricky s–t. We have not shied away from the rich complicated reality of Now. If you’ve got a gun and you’re not the police you’re going to incite strong feelings. We’re stirring the pot and we’re aware of the headlines where we live and we’re trying to get people to think.”
Season 2 of Daredevil launches on Netflix on 18th March.
Marvel sequel Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be the first film ever shot using the RED 8K WEAPON digital video camera. The film’s director, James Gunn, discussed the decision on Facebook, revealing why he believes digital video give him an advantage over using traditional film stock; Gunn shot the previous Guardians of the Galaxy movie using the Alexa 65.
Gunn wrote on Facebook:
“When you’re shooting a film at the level of Guardians of the Galaxy, the cost of film vs. digital is negligible – for me it’s an aesthetic and creative choice.
Firstly, I believe when shooting on a format like the Red Weapon 8K or the Alexa 65, the amount of data is so massive – certainly more so than on a strip of film – that it gives you more freedom in production and post production to create exactly the film you want to create than actual film does. As anyone who has ever worked with me knows, I am a control freak. Such high resolution gives me the ability to control ever single bit of data (to do so would take a long time, but at least the knowledge comforts me). Many filmmakers look to essentially replicate the look of film, but I don’t share that interest. I believe that innovations in camera and shooting technologies as well as visual and practical effects gives us the ability to create a new aesthetic of film, one different from what the past has offered but equally beautiful – perhaps even more so. I respect many of the filmmakers who continue to shoot on film – and some of the most gorgeous movies of 2015 have been in that format. But I think sometimes that the love of actual film is based in nostalgia more than it is in objective beauty. Many filmmakers remember the films of their youth and want to replicate that magic. For me, I’m interested in being one of the many who help to create a new kind of magic that will usher the cinematic experience into the future. What will the children of today think of fondly with nostalgia?
And, yes, most filmmakers who have shot digital have underutilized the format. But with these new cameras their advantages are easier to see for everyone.
And there are three other reasons I chose this format:
1) It is easier to seamlessly incorporate massive amounts of visual, digital effects – including a digital tree and raccoon – into a digital base. 2) One of the ways I capture my actor’s performances is by doing massively long takes, over and over – sometimes up to an hour – much longer than your typical 11-minute reel of film. I find this a better way to capture the energy and rawness in a performance (and we get better outtakes of me yelling at Michael Rooker off-screen). 3) Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be utilizing another new technologies I’m very excited about but can’t quite go into yet. But, for this technology, you need a camera the small size of the RED Weapon – a film camera is too big, as is the Alexa 65 (which is also an amazing camera).”
The 8K WEAPON, priced around $70,000 for the basic unit, uses a Vista Vision-sized 8192×4320, 35-megapixel sensor, and can shoot 75 frames-per-second at 8K resolutions in RAW and ProRes formats simultaneously.
Marvel have been releasing film after film, bringing together TV series, online series, and movies to create a rich and diverse universe. Marvel have called each set of films they aim to release (normally ending with a big film containing several of their heroes) a phase. With Marvel phase 2 recently over, the limited collector set is now available for pre-order and it impresses.
The first phase was what started it all, with Iron Man (1 and 2), the Incredible Hulk, Thor and Captain America, all coming together in The Avengers as one of the biggest films ever seen before. As if this collection of amazing films wasn’t enough, they went further and created a collectors edition and we all know that nothing bad comes in collectors editions.
In this case, the Blu-ray’s (both 3D and 2D) came in sleeves that were hidden nicely within a metal case alongside Shield documentation on the Avengers Initiative. As if that wasn’t enough, the case also carried a replica Tesseract (Devices Of Ultimate Power supplied separately).
So why would we expect any less from the Phase 2 collection? With films like Iron Man 3, Captain America 2 and the second Thor film carrying on strongly from the first, while the Guardians of the Galaxy join the universe and Ant-man being the latest to join. This time, your collection is ordained with the orb from Guardians of the Galaxy.
Being a huge marvel fan I own several films, but you can’t help but appreciate the effort and style found in the collectors editions. Do you buy collectors editions? Are they not worth the difference in price? Voice your opinions in the comments.
Overclockers UK has launched two brand new PCs in the Marvel range, the Marvel 4K and the Marvel 1080p, and it isn’t hard to guess what gaming resolutions these systems are designed for with names like that. Both systems are AMD based and come at a very reasonable price.
The Marvel 4K is designed to deliver 4K gaming at a very wallet-friendly price point but still utilizing high-grade components. The system is built with an ASUS STRIX Radeon R9 390X 8GB Graphics Card, but with upgrade options that include the Radeon Fury and FuryX 4GB HBM. To provide stable power, Overclockers added the highly recommended Super Flower PSU and a wide range of chassis to choose from. Among the cases are models from Aerocool, Cougar and Bitfenix, giving you the choice of look, style and colours. The Marvel 4K is also equipped with a selection of solid state drives, mechanical drives, or hybrid drives.
The Marvel 1080p is a more modest approach to a system and it’s built around AMD’s APUs. These systems are designed to be an alternative to gaming consoles and can be yours for a very similar price. While APUs might not be the go-to choice for hardcore gamers, they provide more than sufficient power for popular online games like League of Legends.
The Marvel 4K starts from £799.99 and the Marvel 1080p starts at £399.95, depending on customizations you choose. However, if you’re in the market for a Marvel 1080p system, you might want to get on it now as the Marvel 1080p is available with a £70 discount at the moment, reducing the price all the way down to £329.95.
Netflix has announced that its next Marvel miniseries, Jessica Jones, is hitting its streaming service on 20th November. Jessica Jones is Netflix’s second Marvel series, following the successful Daredevil adaptation earlier this year.
The show is based on the Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos dark comic Alias – a name already taken on television by JJ Abrams’ spy show, starring Jennifer Garner, who played Electra in the risible 2003 Daredevil movie, starring Ben Affleck. This follows the titular Jessica Jones, a former-superhero-turned-private-investigator who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder.
The Netflix show stars Krysten Ritter of Breaking Bad and Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 fame as Jessica Jones, and boasts an impressive supporting cast, including Carrie-Anne Moss, Rosario Dawson, crossing over from her role as Claire Temple in Daredevil, and Doctor Who’s David Tennant as “The Purple Man”.
Melissa Rosenburg, writer of a number for the Twilight films and former producer of Dexter, is the showrunner of Jessica Jones. Rosenburg has prior form with comic book adaptations, acting as consulting producer on DC Comics TV show Birds of Prey.
Netflix is producing two more Marvel shows, Iron Fist and Luke Cage, with the two shows interlinking with Daredevil and Jessica Jones for one further show: a small-screen, Avengers-style team-up, The Defenders.

With the phase 2 part of Avengers coming to a conclusion with Avengers: Age Of Ultron, we have been left wanting a little more Marvel movie action and of course Ant-Man is here! While he may be small, he packs quite a punch!
Ant-Man is the latest stand alone Marvel movie to be released, as the other beforehand have been building up to Age Of Ultron.
The trailer has plenty of action to boot and plenty of jokes and small hints of the Avengers. This trailer seems to make the Ant-Man movie seem a lot more entertaining and fun than the first one, the trailer shows off a lot of scenes of Ant-Man using his shrink ability having him dodge bullets and explosions and, of course, riding a toy train. Ant-man is coming to the UK and Ireland July 17th
Overall it’s nice to see more Marvel movies of lesser known characters as we’ve been exposed to mostly the Avengers and the individual Avengers own movies, a lot more characters are getting molded with their own show in the Marvel spotlight with characters like DareDevil being a success on Netflix and with the Fantastic Four movie to come out soon after Ant-Man
For sometime there has been speculation and rumour regarding who would take on the role for the next lineup of the Spider-Man movie’s, with popular actors such as Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield who have previously played both the roles of Spider-Man there is a lot of high expectation.
Today Marvel announced the young actor who will take on the new persona of Spider-Man, 19 year old English actor and dancer Tom Holland, not the most famous or desirable of all the possible actors on the list. In 2012 he played a role in The Impossible alongside Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts, He also just recently finished filming In the Heart of the Sea with avengers’ Chris Hemsworth.
If Tom Hollands sudden rise to fame isn’t enough to prove to you that he could play Spider-Man, his Instagram videos have footage of him performing acrobatics should seal the deal. Check out a video below!
Tom Holland surely has the acrobatic technique to leap over obstacles or stop evil doers in their tracks, be sure to check out the various videos of his flips and jumps to reassure yourself that the portrayal of Spidey is in the right hands (or legs).
Aside from revealing the final choice for the role; it also revealed the director Jon Watts is set to join the crew. So far this lineup is starting to take form very nicely, finally now that Spidey is back in Marvel’s hands.
Do you think Tom Holland can do the web slinger justice?

Infinite Crisis was developed by Turbine Inc and published by Warner Bros and it started out as a highly popular MOBA game – but something must have changed as they’ve just announced that they will be shutting down the game and its servers on August 14th, 2015.
It’s only been out of beta for a couple of months and officially launched on Steam on the 26th of March this year. The short-lived game brought a wide range of crazy characters from the DC Comics Multiverse. The game is packed with heroes and villains alike, such as Nightmare Batman, Gaslight Catwoman, Green Lantern and The Flash.
“This was an extremely difficult decision to make. On behalf of the entire Infinite Crisis team we want to thank all of you for your feedback, support and for joining together to create one of the best communities in gaming,” the statement reads.
MOBA is very popular and millions of players taking it out on friend and foes in the PVP battlefields of DOTA2 and League of Legends. But the time doing that with super heroes is almost over.
If you are a fan of the Avengers film series and branched films; you’ll sure to be up to date with the film timeline. We’ve just had the release of Age of Ultron and Ant-Man will be out in the Summer, which stages the end of ‘Stage two’ of the film series. That then leave Captain America: Civil War to kick us back off in 2016 for the third and proposed, final filming stage.
With only a year until the release, filming has most likely already started (under wraps of course), but we are starting to get some pretty hefty details in regards to the filming cast; basically everyone apart from the Green Guy.
The official film synopsis given by the studio reads:
“Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.”
Let’s kick off the cast list, the team at the end of the last Avengers film will be directly included, so we have Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Paul Bettany (The Vision), Don Cheadle (War Machine) and Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlett Witch)….that’s six straight away.
It has then been confirmed that Paul Rudd will make an appearance as Ant-Man after the release of the standalone film this Summer. We should also expect a visit from Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) before he has his own standalone film in 2018. Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) is named to appear despite his seeming departure in Age of Ultron and of course Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man) will be back, establishing the rivalry between him and Cap that follows the comic story line; ten now.
Even though this will be an almost smaller sequel to Age of Ultron, the past of Winter Solider will make it into the new film. Sebastian Stan (bucky Barnes) will return at the Winter Solider, Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter) and Frank Grillo (Brock Rumlow) will also be returning.
Almost there, really. Daniel Brühl will be appearing as Nazi villain Baron Zemo, Martin Freeman will also appear, but no confirmed role for him just yet.. Lastly, William Hurt will make his first appearance in the film series since his debut in The Incredible Hulk back in 2008. That’s sixteen major roles, SIXTEEN; how will directors, Anthony and Joe Russo, give each of these enough screen time to warrant them? Who knows.
The directors have a tough job on their hand with this one, this will be the first film to include more than 2-3 other Avengers cast, leading almost directly off the Age of Ultron, but also having to make sure this has enough traction to stand alone AND set up for the rest of the film series.
I can’t wait for it, the chemistry all played on screen makes me like Captain America more and more with his unseemly witty responses that just doesn’t fit in with our very matured sense of humor. Are you excited for the rest of the series? Let us know in the comments.

Telltale Games has quite the knack for securing huge licensing deals – The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones have already had Telltale’s unique episodic adventure game treatment – and that trend seems set to continue with possibly its most lucrative partnership yet: the game developer is working with Marvel Entertainment – the parent company of Marvel Comics and Marvel Studios responsible for its film and TV output – to develop a video game series likely to tie in to the Marvel cinematic universe.
“Announced this evening in San Francisco, we’re excited to reveal an all-new partnership with the incredible team at Marvel Entertainment,” a post on Telltale’s blog reads. “We’ll be teaming up on the development of an upcoming Telltale game series project set to premiere in 2017!”
Though it gained a solid reputation as a promising developer with its resurrections of adventure game classics Sam & Max and Monkey Island, Telltale Games achieved critical and commercial acclaim with the release of The Walking Dead: Season One in 2012 which, taking its inspiration from the Robert Kirkman comics rather than the AMC TV show, told a mature interactive story, breaking adventure game convention by eschewing puzzles in favour of story and character development.
It is as yet unknown whether Telltale’s foray into the Marvel universe will deal with an existing film or TV property, or will be an adaptation of an untapped comic book story. Telltale promises more information to come, so hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to find out.

Chinese model makers Beast Kingdom have unveiled a life-sized replica of the Hulkbuster – Iron Man’s behemoth suit from the forthcoming Marvel spectacular Avengers: Age of Ultron – at an event in Taiwan recently. It’s huge, mean, and it will only cost a wallet-busting $21,500.
The Hulkbuster was designed by Tony Stark – better known as Iron Man – to take on that raging viridian menace, the Hulk. But, before you ask your rugby-player friend to paint himself green and challenge him to a duel with your new Hulkbuster suit, this replica is only a statue, and one that stands at 3 metres tall, so you’d better have high doors and ceilings in your home.
If this hasn’t put you off, how about a scale replica of Hulk of $20,000? The pair are meant to go together, after all.
Robert Downey Jr. helped a disabled boy to become a real-life Iron Man when he presented the child with a 3D printed prosthetic arm modelled after that of the Marvel superhero. Iron Man actor Downey Jr. was working with non-profit organisation Limbless Solutions to give young Alex Pring – who was born with a section of his right arm missing – the fully functional prosthetic.
Limbless Solutions uses engineering students from the University of Central Florida to create 3D-printed limbs for children, allowing for inexpensive production of prosthetics that kids quickly grow out of. Each limb costs around $350 in materials, and takes up to 50 hours to construct.
Seven-year-old Pring, a Transformers fan, also received an Optimus Prime arm from Limbless Solutions last Christmas.
Marvel has just released a new trailer for their upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron, and its full off… Ultron! This comes as a response to the Twitter “mission” set out by Marvel, encouraging fans to “unite & unlock” a new and possible final trailer for the movie by tweeting using the #AvengersAssemble hashtag.
Aside from all the eye-catching explosions and special effects, the trailer further explains that the main point of the story is not that Ultron became self-aware, but rather that Tony Stark caused a rift due to his accidental creation. While the rift is taking the Marvel heroes into uncharted territory, it also exposes some of their more vulnerable sides, making the action more intense and will surely deliver the unique experience that fans are anticipating.

Synology has launched a new NAS device, the DiskStation DS115J. A compact, energy saving and quiet 1-bay NAS server dedicated to serving as your private cloud and smart network video recorder. A device that promises a budget-friendly price tag without compromising the performance.
The DS115J is one of the few devices designed specifically for the home environment. Its power saving features allows it to perform at just 13 watts under full load and 3.85 watts when the hard drive enters hibernation mode. Synology also applied noise dampening designs in order to make this NAS as quiet as possible, bringing it down to just 18.1dB(A).
“With DS115j, home users can now enjoy the rich data sharing and multimedia streaming features offered by Synology at an entry-level price point,” said Nicole Lin, Product Manager of Synology Inc.
The performance doesn’t suffer though, as the device promises read speeds at 103 MB/s, this is an increase of 28% compared to its predecessor. This is achieved by using a CPU with built-in Floating-Point Unit (FPU), the Marvell Armada 370 that runs at 800MHz. The NAS has 256 MB DDR3 ram which should be sufficient for a 1-bay device like this. It supports the new 6TB drives and any other 3½ inch SATA drive. It also supports 2½ inch drives, but with an optional Disk Holder. On connections, the DS115J offers a Gigabit Ethernet port and two USB 2.0 ports.
DS115j also serves as a full-featured network video recorder to leverage Synology Surveillance Station. DS115j comes with 2 free IP camera licenses and supports up to 5 cameras, making it an ideal surveillance solution for homes and SOHOs. All the other features we love from Synology’s DiskStation Manager are present in this device too and it’s a familiar surround to return to for any previous Synology user. This includes the QuickConnect feature that is similar to Dynamic DNS (DDNS) with the key difference that you don’t need to configure anything for it to work and you don’t even need a public IP address, something fewer and fewer have these days.
Synology DiskStation DS115j is now shipping globally and should start out with a price tag around €90,00, £78,00 and $117,00 based upon the prices I could find at the time of writing and the RRP. That is about a fourth of the price less, compared to the previous model.

Ok firstly, this looks insanely awesome, secondly, it’s full name is the Iron Man V Armor Power Bank. Now that those two things are out of the way, I can talk a bit more about what you’re looking at.
This is a mobile power bank, these are very helpful devices that act as a second battery for your mobile or tablet device but this battery is huge. If you’re ever out and about and running low on tech juice, grab your power block, connect your device via a USB cable and there you have it, nice and simple indeed.
Now this power block in-particular comes with a massive 12,000 mAh battery capacity to provide users with enough power to charge a tablet or a smartphone. This is enough juice to recharge an iPhone 5S 5 times, apparently.
“Each Iron Man Mark V Armor Suitcase Mobile Fuel Cell has 12,000 mAh of power. That’s enough to charge an iPhone 5S five times! The Iron Man Fuel Cell also has two USB ports (5V at 1 amp and 5V at 2 amp), so you can charge a tablet and phone at the same time. But this just isn’t a Mobile Fuel Cell, it’s also a 1/4 scale prop replica, as the Iron Man Mark V Armor Suitcase Mobile Fuel Cell was designed using the original prop and 3D digital files provided by Marvel. If you like showing off technology, charging your doodads, and carrying a little bit of Iron Man in your pocket, then this is the charger for you!”
As awesome as this little thing is, it’s not cheap. This little armor case will set you back $99.99 but I think it’s worth it just because it’s Iron Man. 10/10 would buy.
Thanks to Geekygadgets for supplying us with this information.
According to talks with Marvel’s own Kevin Feige they have currently cataloged about 8,000 Marvel characters that can possibly have their own stand alone films.
With Captain America: The Winter Soldier just released, we have Guardians of the Galaxy to look forward to soon in order to expand the story pertaining to Thanos and the Infinity Gems which you would have already been pointed out to starting with the first Avengers and Thor: The Dark World. After that we have Avengers 2: Age of Ultron next year then the sky is the limit! Ant-Man anyone? Doctor Strange? Black Panther? And who knows, maybe if Sony and Marvel can reach an agreement we can hopefully see our favorite web slinger Spiderman make an Avengers appearance 😉
Marvel isn’t slowing down so let’s hope that DC can get their act together starting with Batman vs Superman. But with Ben Affleck as Batman the future is uncertain…
Over the last couple of years I’ve had a look at numerous SSDs from many of the leading manufacturers in the world of SSDs and storage in general, however there has been one vendor that I have not worked with up to this point. This is of course Plextor and as things go, This company is said to be right up there in the rankings with the likes of Kingston, OCZ, Corsair, Sandisk and many more; but flash-based storage is not where this company has its roots buried. Since the formation of the company way back in 1985, Plextor have been making their name well-known in the world of optical storage with their name being made synonymous with high quality optical drives and media that performed way above that of OEM grade drives and media.Back when optical based storage was much more popular than it is today, Plextor’s drives typically demanded a far greater price tag over white box products, however the end-user was prepared to pay the premium due to the fact that Plextor’s products were far less susceptible to errors when burning media, which would otherwise leave you with a pile of coffee mug ‘coasters’ as they were known. As the market has moved on and the popularity of optical media fallen, Plextor branched out to the solid state market with their first SSD, the M1, coming to market in 2009. Since then we have seen the M series of SSDs grow and mature through the M2, 3 and 4 series and on to the current generation M5 drives with all the leading technologies and performance figures that the end-user looks for and demands in today’s performance driven market.
The M5 Pro Xtreme is the pinnacle of Plextor’s SSD design today and over its little brother, the M5 Pro, the Xtreme on paper doesn’t seem to be different, but there have been one or two subtle changes made to give slightly better performance figures over the M5 Pro when handling smaller file sizes (~4K). Considering both use the same third-gen dual core Marvell controller and 19nm Toshiba toggle flash MLC NAND, the performance differences are purely down to the use of sixteen NAND packages on the Xtreme over eight on the Pro and lower level drives.
Inside the box we find a typical set of SSD accessories with two sets of screws and a 2.5″ to 3.5″ drive bay adaptor, installation and warranty leaflets and a copy of NTI’s SSD Solution for drive cloning and migration to Plextor SSDs.

Fancy kicking it up a notch at your next fancy dress party? A company in China is offering custom full-body Iron Man costumes, complete with glowing lights. The aptly named Iron Man Factory is charging $2,000 for the suits, sure that’s a lot of money, but this isn’t your usual fancy dress attire, it’s freaking Iron Man!
It will take around eight months for your order to be complete and shipped as each one is built to order, there is a faster option is that you can order a 3D printed version, however that will set you back an insane $35,000 and let’s be honest, that’s freaking stupid.
The suits are made using injection moulded pieces that use reinforced polymer, and come fitted with a sensor on the side of the helmet that will allow you to open it up Iron Man style. Finally, the internal lights in the hands are powered by batteries and will offer up the glowing features that are a trademark of the suit. The suit is only suitable to be made for people between 5ft 6inch and 6ft 1inch (164cm to 185cm).
The suit isn’t even licensed from Marvel, but the company has made a statement on legality: “We will only charge your credit card when your order is shipped and we will still ship out all orders no matter what.”
So, who’s going to put in a pre-order?
Thank you T3 for providing us with this information.
Thanks to FCC website, we now know a little bit more about two new HP. Now we see that HP has pushed two different models through the FCC, though not much is known about them. Other than at least one will run Android, the details are light.
First off is the HP Slate 10 HD, which sports a 1280 x 800 10-inch screen and Marvel PXA986 ARM SoC. Liliputing is reporting that it will also have Beats Audio, which could be the cause for the red housing. The Slate 10 will run a variant of Android, but a specific API has not been revealed yet.
The other tablet is dubbed the HP 10 1900, which it is believed to be a hint at a better screen resolution. a 1280 x 800 10-inch screen is a bit dated, but something more dense would be appreciated. While it is know that the Slate 10 will be an Android tablet, nothing was noted about the HP 10 190o’s operating system.
Both tablets have similar specs, too. Each will have GSM and CDMA capabilities, standard WiFi credentials, and Bluetooth 3.0. The Slate 10 is also said to be offered in WiFi or 4G variants, and support Micro SD Card storage as well as sport a front and rear camera. While they are not the best tablet, or maybe tablets, you can get with Android, the price will be the real determining factor.
Activision Publishing and Marvel Entertainment have announced that the video game The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has a planned launch date for next spring, alongside Sony Pictures movie by the same name. It’s developed by the same people who released the original game.
The game, which is being developed by Beenox (a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision), will build on the story of the previous game, The Amazing Spider-Man, but will feature an alternate take on the events that take place in the upcoming movie. It will give players an enhanced, free-roaming experience in a much expanded New York City area, and there will be more abilities, more upgrades, more challenges and more freedom to progress in the game.
The game also will include a “Hero of Menace” system that will reward players for taking out bad guys and has negative consequences if criminal activity is left to fester in the city.
The game will launch for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS and Windows PC. The movie has a reported release date of May 2nd, 2014. Below is the teaser trailer released at Comic Con yesterday.
