MSI Bundles Limited Edition Heroes of the Storm with Select Systems

Blizzard had a very long and impressive success with World of Warcraft and while that is declining, they haven’t really found the next big thing to capture the users on the same level. Heroes of Storm has been off to a relatively good start, but nothing compared to World of Warcraft. That means that the marketing has to change and we see a lot of promotions lately with Heroes of the Storm packages bundled. The latest in this series is MSI that now bundles limited edition versions of Heroes of the Storm with select gaming systems.

While the game in itself is free, there are many items to get and these bundles include downloadable limited edition items for Heroes of the Storm. MSI’s bundle comes with their desktops and All-in-One PCs that are officially authorized and recommended by Blizzard Entertainment. While we have seen other bundles in the past, this is the first time that Blizzard teamed up for full systems.

Most people should know Heroes of the Storm by now, even if they haven’t played it themselves. It is a multiplayer online battle arena game that features heroes from Blizzard’s other games such as Diablo, Warcraft, and StarCraft. The game uses both free-to-play and freemium models and is supported by micropayments, which can be used to obtain heroes, visual alterations for the heroes in the game and mounts.

The limited edition MSI GAMING 24 and GAMING 27 all-in-one PCs have been engraved with Blizzard’s Heroes to make it remarkable. Users will find an exclusive voucher with the Hero character named Valla inside. The Nighblade MI2 system comes with an exclusive voucher with Hero character, Diablo with a Kaijo Skin while the MSI Nightblade X2B comes with a voucher for the Hero character Gazlowe and a Big Top skin.

These MSI systems might be compact and small, but they still pack great power that is backed by Intel i7’s and Nvidia 900 series graphics cards, among other things. If you just want something simple that works right out of the box, then solutions like these could be perfect. If you also play Heroes of the Storm or want to start it, then they might be perfect.

EVGA Bundles Exclusive Heroes of the Storm Kaijo Diablo With Selected GPUs

It is that time of the year again, no it’s not Christmas yet, but rather the time where we see a lot of new games and codes bundled with selected graphics cards. Yesterday we could report that MSI bundled Assassin’s Creed Chronicles codes with selected AMD cards and today EVGA has something for Nvidia fans. For a limited time, EVGA is bundling an exclusive Kaija Diablo Bundle for Heroes of Storm with the purchase of selected graphics cards.

The exclusive Kaijo Diablo Bundle includes the Diablo hero, Kaijo skin, and a 7-day Stim Pack. The bundle comes with the purchase of a qualifying EVGA GeForce GTX 950 or 960 graphics card. The list below will show which cards are eligible for the bundle.

For MOBA gamers, the GeForce GTX 950 provides the competitive edge in every battle with blazing fast performance and an incredible level of responsiveness. Get 3x the performance of a GeForce GTX 650 and the power of NVIDIA Maxwell architecture to transform your PC into a full-HD gaming rig capable of playing the latest titles. Or choose the GeForce GTX 960 for even faster performance!

The deal is valid for a lot of retailers and you can check up on that here. The promotion runs from the 23rd September 2015 and until the supply runs out of the promotions gets canceled again.

NVIDIA Released GeForce 353.06 Drivers With Fixes and Support for the GTX 980Ti

Nvidia just released their brand new GeForce GTX 980 Ti and we already have the review ready for you in case you want to check up on how great the newest Nvidia card is. With every new graphics card, you’ll also need a new driver to support it. That is just what we’ve got here, but Nvidia also added a couple fixes and game profiles at the same time.

The newest GeForce WHQL Game Ready Driver is version 353.06 and it is available for download now. The release comes just in time for the highly anticipated Heroes of the Storm title and Nvidia made sure you have the best experience in the new game. The new driver also provides a number of new gaming features and benefits based around the G-Sync technology, Dynamic Super Resolution, and enhancements for the latest new titles.

The new driver now supports G-SYNC technology in windowed mode and offers both G-SYNC (V-SYNC on) and G-SYNC (V-SYNC off) options, as well as Ultra-Low Motion Blur (ULMB) in the NVIDIA Control Panel. It provides Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR) for notebooks with discrete GeForce GPUs as well as optimizations and bug fixes which can provide increased performance for Kepler-based GPUs.

If you got GeForce Experience installed, you can use that to download the newest drivers or get them directly from Nvidia’s own website as 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

Turtle Beach Teams Up With Blizzard For Heroes of the Storm

Turtle Beach are one of the industry giants when it comes to high-end audio products from the games industry and now they’ll be joining one of the worlds gaming titans in a collaboration that should span a few years. Working with Blizzard, Turtle Beach look set to unleash a range of new high-quality PC gaming headsets for both elite and recreational players based on the upcoming multi-player game, Heroes of the Storm.

Heroes of the Storm is a new raucous online team brawler that draws iconic characters from more than 20 years of Blizzard gaming history, including the award-winning Warcraft, Diablo and StarCraft franchises. Heroes of the Storm is uniquely positioned to deliver exciting competitive play thanks to its team-oriented gameplay mechanics and its fast-paced skirmishes. Of course there are already a few big games in this class, but with such huge francises at its disposal, Blizzard and Turtle Beach are in a strong position to compete, especially for the ever growing e-Sports crowd.

The Heroes of the Storm gaming headsets will join Turtle Beach’s growing PC gaming portfolio, which includes three models introduced in 2013 — the surround sound Z SEVEN wired and Z300 wireless headsets, and the stereo Z22 wired headset. The agreement with Blizzard Entertainment will contribute to Turtle Beach’s efforts to increase the company’s share of the PC gaming market.

“Turtle Beach shares our passion for gaming and can deliver world class gaming audio,” said Paul Sams, chief operating officer of Blizzard Entertainment. “Heroes of the Storm had a terrific reception at BlizzCon 2013, and we’re looking forward to working with Turtle Beach to deliver the best possible audio experience for the game.”

“Turtle Beach is very excited to announce this agreement with Blizzard around Heroes of the Storm,” said Bob Picunko Chief Marketing Officer at Turtle Beach. “We are looking forward to launching state-of-the-art headsets for one of PC gaming’s most anticipated titles, and working with Blizzard to introduce them to both elite and casual players.”

We’re already looking forward to trying out the new game and if it proves as popular as everyone is expecting, then expect some pretty awesome headset designs to follow it in the near future.

Thank you Turtle Beach for providing us with this information.

Heroes Of The Storm MOBA Revealed

Today at BlizzCon I was able to hear quite a bit about Heroes of the Storm. This will be a solid multiplayer game, based entirely on teamwork. Really a big game, and the main intent of game designers is for friends to play together. Heroes of the Storm is a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena, much like other games in the same genre, but it has characteristics all of its own.

This is the second Free to Play game that Blizzard has announced. Originally the game was going to be a map available in StarCraft 2, yet it has evolved so much that it is going to be a game all by itself.

With this game, there will be tons of characters to choose from, all of them special and unique. Each hero will have special abilities using their iconic elements and combining them to create awesome characters. The abilities are designed to work well with who the character is, as well as allowing players to pick and choose what abilities they feel work best. Character customization is huge in this game, where players get to customize their heroes skin, abilities and more.

Fun with friends, strange superhero group.

Any gamer knows how it feels to be in a long drawn out game only to lose a match, with this game, matches are designed to be short, keeping them to around 20 minutes each. This allows gamers to play a few games while at lunch.

Teams, teams, teams. Heroes of the Storm primary focus is teams, I felt that they really drove that into our brains. This game is designed to be played as a team, as you progress, your team gains levels. If your team works together you will own the match, but if people decide to go off and do their own thing, the team is likely to lose the match.

This really looks like an awesome game “FOR THE STORM”. I can’t wait to try it out and customize my hero, and check out the new challenges. Not even in the beta yet, but we soon will have the opportunity to join in and play. Check out the official Heroes of the Storm page to learn more, and sign up for the beta.

Blizzard Entertainments “BlizzCon 2013” Approaches

We only have two days before the beginning of BlizzCon 2013. We have only been waiting 2 years for it to be here, and here it is. If you are a Blizzard Entertainment fan, then this is huge news for you. Bringing us new information on their franchises Diablo, StarCraft, WarCraft.

If you didn’t get a chance to pick up tickets to BlizzCon when they were on sale, you can still pick up your virtual ticket so that you can watch all of the fun and excitement from the two full days of information, contests, concert and more.

Blizzard Entertainment has three primary franchises Diablo, StarCraft and Warcraft, all of which we will hear about during BlizzCon 2013. There are a few other projects that we will likely hear about as well, Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone, Warcraft Movie and perhaps even the Titan Project.

Diablo 3 has been out for about a year and a half, and we will likely hear all about their expansion that will be released sometime in 2014. We can only hope that we get a nice demo, and hear about some of the awesomeness to come with this newest expansion. Will they give us a release date?

The StarCraft franchise will likely give us news on their next expansion, rumored to be called Legacy of the Void. Perhaps they will let us know about some cool new changes that we can see coming in later patches.

WarCraft has gotten itself bundled with World of Warcraft since I don’t really see Blizzard bringing WarCraft 4 to us any time soon, if ever. I am sure that we will hear about new changes that are evolving in Azeroth, and I am sure that the World of Warcraft team has some really interesting changes that are taking place, we may even hear about their next expansion. Will it be called Warlords of Draenor?

Hearthstone, still in closed beta we have heard very little about what is taking place in this card based video game, I hope that they will open the beta up so that I can play, because I would really like to give this game a run.

Blizzard DOTABlizzard All-Stars, Heroes of the Storm… Will Blizzard make up their mind already on what they are going to call this game? I mean we first heard about this in 2010 and it still isn’t released, though at first it was going to be a StarCraft 2 mod, now it sounds like it is going to be a freestanding game.

Warcraft the Movie, we have been hearing about this since 2006, and it looks like they might actually have some news for us, but will it ever really be released?

We can’t forget about “Project Titan”, in which Blizzard is creating an all new Massive-Multiplay Online Role Playing Game, in which they have given us little to no information on over the past few years. Though I doubt that they will tell us anything, they are going to be tight-lipped on the subject mater until it is further along in development.

What are you looking forward to at BlizzCon 2013? Question & Answers, Lore, Contests or Competitions?

I want to give a big thank you to Blizzard Entertainment for putting on this event this year.
