Remember those times you see a really good movie on Netflix and just want to watch it with a friend? If that has ever been you, you know that sometimes you can’t be in the same room to watch Netflix every time you find something interesting to watch. In this day and age being stuck in the same room to watch a film really shouldn’t be a problem, and Netflix Party looks to solve that problem.
Netflix Party is a google Chrome extension that will let you and friends watch Netflix from two different machines. Adding synchronised video playback you never have to worry about your friend being behind or in front of you, even during those embarrassing moments when the call of nature interrupts an action scene. Alongside the playback options, Netflix Party goes so far as to add a group chat to the side of the movie, meaning that if you wanted to discuss and talk during the film without microphones disturbing your experience, the option is there to write your opinions about the plot holes and characters without disturbing the experience for everyone.
Have you ever wondered why your Facebook friends counter seems to be going lower and lower? No, ok just me then, well wonder no more, as this new app informs you when a friend decides to run in the opposite direction, OK I may be trying to artificially hype this notion up.
The App goes by the name of “Who Deleted me on Facebook” which possibly took all of 5 seconds for that name to be referenced. The App which is available on the standard Android and IOS platforms, aims to inform you when a friend has deleted you from their account. The caveat is that while it informs you from the moment you have downloaded the App, it will not respectively scan back to previous friends who deleted you.
The App has another feature which also shows your newest friends, people you have chosen to block and a ‘last seen’ stamp for everyone in your list. This App used to be available on the site itself until Facebook changed its policies. Whether this software is actually useful is another matter, after all, if you have been deleted you would either A notice, B not notice or C not care.
The App is free and available from both Apple’s and Google’s App stores, but according to the iTunes Store, the App which had been released on the 29th June 2015 has not yet received enough ratings to display an average feedback chart

Co-op multiplayer mode is usually though for genres such as FPS, RPG and others, having co-op as a last alternative mode for RTS games. Normally, co-op RTS are summed up to skirmish matches, such as the case of Command and Conquer series, where players can enjoy a small game in pairs against computer enemies or other players.
This is about to change thanks to the people over at TyrZ who thought that the original Starcraft game could do with a co-op multiplayer campaign mod. Their inspiration is said to have come from the skirmish modes, where both players are left in charge of their own units and bases. Both players are said to be able to take control of faction units, depending on the current mission.
The final mission in the Vanilla version of the game lets you control both Terran and Protoss units, which is kind of tricky for a 2 player campaign mission. That is actually a good question to find the answer out while you go through the campaign with a friend.
It is said that the modders haven’t just placed a simple mod on the game, but actually tweaked each campaign mission in both terrain and difficulty in order to compensate for two players. Players who used to storm a Terran base with zerglings in the past are said to change their strategies for this mod. An ‘Insane’ mode is said to have been added for both the solo and co-op, where you have to quickly adapt in both defense and offense in order to survive from the very start of the mission.
Those of you interested in this game-changing mod can head over to TyrZ’s website to download all the co-op missions for the original game and Brood War expansion.
