Depending on their hardware, users can choose one from the following range games:

  • Far Cry 3

  • Dirt 3
  • Saints Row IV
  • Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed

A smaller selection is available to owners of AMD FX, A10, and A8 CPUs, plus Radeon R7 and R5 GPUs.

While the selection hardly boasts any new releases, there’s a few gems on offer, especially for no cost.

Nvidia Offers Witcher 3 for Free to Titan X Owners

Nvidia is offering the Witcher 3, an action role-playing, story-driven, video game for free to all the owners of their flagship graphics card, Titan X, who are willing to utilize their application called “Nvidia Geforce Experience”. Titan Graphics Card haven’t witnessed any free bundled game since launch in spite of their price tag (over $1000), but things are bit changed now. Nvidia has been bundling the games with the high-end Graphic card offerings such as GTX 980, GTX 970, GTX 960 are enjoying the freebies like Witcher 3 and Batman: Arkham City from a long a time, but this time they have changed the way these games were delivered to the end customers.

Fret not, even if you have already purchased the graphics card, you can still claim it using the Geforce Experience (or GFE in short). Unlike previous method of distributing bundled games in form of vouchers which can be resold in market and sometimes the end customer gets disappointed due to these issues, the bundled game can be redeemed by all the Titan X owners and they just need to follow pretty straightforward instruction to get the game running. The instructions posted by Nvidia can be found right here. You will need a GOG.com account and grant Nvidia permission access to your email address, avatar, and username. This GFE Beta test end on June 19.

This change will alter the future of the distribution of the bundled games and finally it should have done long ago. This is an essential step towards the prevention of the sales of the free bundled games. What do you think about it? Let us know in the comment section.

Free Ubisoft Game with the Purchase of Selected Nvidia GPUs

As part of the “Pick your Path” promotion, Nvidia is giving away keys for The Crew, Assassin’s Creed Unity and Far Cry 4 with the purchase of selected graphics cards. Nvidia have had a close relationship with Ubisoft for a while and most their games are built on the GameWorks technology.

Each game offered in this promotion is based on the GameWorks technology and are great examples to show off what the new GPUs features can do. The qualifying cards are the GeForce GTX 980, 970, 780 Ti or 780 as well as notebooks with GeForce GTX 980M or 970M

  • Assassin’s Creed Unity, the latest installment in Ubisoft’s most successful franchise, will feature HBAO+, TXAA, PCSS and tessellation technologies.
  • Far Cry 4 is another legendary game series getting a visual and technology upgrade. Besides HBAO+, TXAA, PCSS and enhanced 4K support, Far Cry 4 integrates NVIDIA “Godrays” technology so gamers can all but feel the sun beating down in the Himalayas, and NVIDIA HairWorks, for rendering the hyper-realistic adversaries players encounter.
  • The Crew is the ultimate street racing game and looks superb thanks to the use of HBAO+ and TXAA technologies – all rendered in breathtaking 4K.

The offer is only valid through selected and authorized dealers. So better check with your retailer before you order and expect to get a code, only to end up disappointed. Codes can be redeemed and further information and rules can be found on the Pick your Path mini site.

Battlefield 4 Free on Origin for 1 Week

The latest Battlefield is now free to play on Origin for a whole week!

That’s right, a whole week, 168 hours of EA’s latest FPS blockbuster for free. Don’t worry if you haven’t instantly jumped onto the download either. Origin have made it so the counter only starts to tick AFTER the game has downloaded and you launch it. As long as you have added it to your game library before 6pm BST on August 14th (that’s 10 AM PDT), you will still have the whole week. Also, if you decide to actually buy the game after the week is out all of your in-game progress will be saved.

This is the second promotion like this EA has done. The first was with Titanfall in June but they only offered it for 48 hours. It seems it must have been a success for them to do it again, this time for even longer. Its about time EA did something positive with BF4, its release hasn’t been very well received by the FPS community and with the latest BF4 DLC expansion, Final Stand, now being delayed till “Q3” maybe this will draw in some new customers for EA and get their older players back on.

To get Battlefield 4 you can download via Origin Here
