The problem you often find when you play any game with items is that you end up torn between looking good and actually being good. Some of the best look items I’ve ever found in games are mid-tiered, meaning that while they look awesome playing with them actually makes me weaker than I could/should be. This is a problem commonly found with games, but Diablo III has you covered if you felt like you needed a little more style thanks to its new cosmetics patch.
Typically without buying the collectors edition (something that is rather hard to find these days), you were limited in how amazing you could look thanks to the limited pets and wings available for your characters.
The latest patch (2.4.1) is a small one by many standards, but will add a wide range of graphical choices for your characters, from the Wings of Kokabiel making you look like a fairy demon to the Star Helm and Pauldrons calling you to battle in space.
Below you can find just a few of the new items and pets that you will be now able to quest for and upon receiving, look like a true warrior.

When you play a game do you look for style or are you one for the stats the items bring? Is there a way to find a balance? Give us your opinion on if stats or looks are more important in games
Grinding for hours and leveling that RPG character can be a real pain at times, although it’s usually fun too. It can however be done a lot faster as the Diablo 3 player Dat Modz demonstrates. Granted, he doesn’t do it alone and on a clean account, but the achievement still stands out and it isn’t a thing you’ll see every day.
Dat Modz is taking his monk from level 1 to level 70 in just a little over a minute. Very impressive, but how is that possible you ask. He entered the semi-rare Cow Level with its massive XP boost. His character is wearing a Hellfire Ring with a Gem of Ease and he equips Leoric’s Signet as soon as his character level allows it. That coupled with a socketed helmet and paragon levels and the XP runs in faster than the game can count it. Oh, and he has three mates doing the killing for him, and without them he wouldn’t have made it very far into the realm.
The overlays showing the level ups and other information lag hopelessly behind the game levels. In fact, they show the ‘Level 16’ text when his character hits level 70. I tip my helmet for this guy, that’s not a time that’ll be easy to beat.

I thought the day would never come, the day when the Xbox One could manage to play a game at 1080p but that day has come! Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition will be native 1080p on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. This is good news for Xbox fans, obviously, as I’m pretty sure they’re sick and tired of having the ‘second best’ experience with dual platform games. The original resolution for Reaper of Souls was to be 900p on the Xbox One but thanks to Microsoft realizing how pointless and unpopular the Kinect device actually is, they allowed for it to be removed, freeing up 10% more GPU bandwidth which in turn allows the console to push the resolution gamers demand. Not only will RoS be 1080p but it will also be a solid 60FPS which is another must have for this generation of gaming.
So it looks like Microsoft are starting to realize how much of pile of junk the Xbox One actually is, over priced, ugly and weak in performance when compared to PS4 and of course PCs. Scraping Kinect as a selling point was a good idea, it enabled the console to be more reasonably priced and freed up GPU bandwidth but I personally think the damage has already been done, Microsoft have dug themselves a hole so deep, not even they can climb out of it.

Great news for those of you who are buying a PlayStation 4, but also great news for those of you who have yet to pick up Diablo 3. While sure the game is out on PC, although with a less than favourable reputation given that the game was effectively broken, and the game is also out on the PlayStation 3, which we absolutely loved now that a seemingly endless amount of fixes, changes and tweaks had been made to it, but the PS4 edition could be even better yet.
With the graphics turned right up to 11 on the PlayStation 4 release, higher resolution and a better frame rate, Diablo 3 will have never looked so good on a console. Known as the Ultimate Evil Edition the PlayStation 4 release of the game will also include the Reaper of Souls expansion, touchpad integration and new social features (most likely to suit the PS4 friend system).
Adventure Kills are now added, when you are killed by a monster there is a chance that the monster will level up and jump into your friends game. This will post up a message to your friend (in-game) “Matthew’s bane is stalking you”, the monster will then attack your friend in their game and if they kill it, they get loot and you get a message that your death has been avenged.
Players can now use Player Mail to ship each other items from within the game, as well as a Player Gifts system that perks your friends with items when you find something Legendary.
In short, it looks like I’m going to have to buy Diablo 3 all over again.

We see many new features and interesting things happening in Diablo III with their expansion Reaper of souls. Where you will battle it out at the end of Act Five with Malthael, the Angel of Death. Along with the addition of Act Five, we will see two new game modes.
Adventure Mode will allow players to go anywhere, and slay anything. The player should get to play when and where they want to play, so all of the waypoints in all of the acts have been unlocked. This will allow players to jump to any part of the game at any time.
Campaign Mode gives players the opportunity to focus more on the story. Players will get to play all of the quests, view all of the cut-scenes and in-game movies. This won’t be much different than current game play.
Bounties have also been added, if you want more of a guided approach while playing the game, but you don’t want to play the campaign, you will be able to play adventure mode. While in adventure mode, you will get bounties, which are random quests. In each game the player will be granted 25 bounties, 5 in each act. There will be a number of bounties including killing one of the 15 different bosses, to complete an event, kill a unique monster, even clearing a dungeon. When completing a bounty players will be granted experience, rift keystones as well as cool loot.
Nephalem Rifts, a completely randomized dungeon that can be up to 10 levels deep. In order to get into a rift you will need a rift keystone. While in a Nephalem Rift the game will defy all of the rules, mixing up monsters of different types, monster densities as well as layouts. Players will get some awesome buffs, the bosses will be challenging, mixed with randomness to bring back the awesomeness of Diablo.
There will be some really cool new monsters in Diablo III, with some completely new and revamped abilities such as back stepping and transformation. If you’re interested in learning more about the newest information about Diablo III: Reaper of Souls check out the official Blizzard website.
Over the years we have heard about Blizzard and them striking their BAN HAMMER. Though they usually save it for special instances of hacking and abusing a game, this time it was for Diablo 3 players. Apparently players had found a way to duplicate or dupe items. With Diablo 3 having a Real-Money Auction House allowing you to sell in-game items for some cold hard cash lots of people want to make a quick buck. Unfortunately, some people decide to find ways to abuse the game, and it can affect us all.
Some may say that no one is really affected since it is all fake, but duping an item can cause issues across the entire game. Once Blizzard found out about the exploit they shut the auction house down, and investigated the issue. As it turns out there was a way to dupe gold with the auction house, which allowed a small number of players that had billions of gold to turn that into trillions.
Some of you who play might be worried that your account will be affected or rolled back because of the issue, but since there were only a select few who took advantage of the exploit (415). Blizzard is only going to go after those who were involved in the process. Blizzard is locking accounts that appear to have used the exploit then investigating further. Depending on how much damage they did they will either have their accounts banned or rolled back depending on their activity.
Blizzard stated on their forums “We’ll also be donating all proceeds from auctions conducted by the suspended or banned players—including all of THEIR sale proceeds that we intercepted as well as our transaction fee—to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.”
Good news for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals though, they are getting a large donation from Blizzard Entertainment!
