So we’re here at CeBIT 2015 in Hannover, Germany. First stop is to the be quiet! stand where they have presented the Dark Power Pro 11 1000w 80PLUS Platinum Power supply. This power supply is the newest in be quiet! line-up, providing stable power at extreme efficiency. This particular model has a special feature, which will be rolled out on the series. This is the OverClocking Key (OCK), this allows you to manually plug in a ‘key’ to switch between single and multi-rail modes to better adjust for those who decide to have power demanding graphics card set up or for overclocking. Like in the previous be quiet! power supply range, these will come with rubber mounting brackets, but new to this will be a rubber encased 135mm 6 pole motor fan; better efficiency, better power, better silence.
We are looking forward to this and the rest of the range, which will start at 550w and end at 1200w. We look forward to bringing you the rest of the news and events from CeBIT 2015.
On the occasion of the company’s 25th anniversary, ENERMAX introduced the new Digifanless 550W power supply, the first digital and fanless power supply from ENERMAX. The new PSU isn’t just digital and fanless, it also comes with a 80 Plus Platinum certification and a peak efficiency of 93%.
Digifanless is equipped with a digital interface to read out and control the most essential power values via the brand-new ZDPMS software, including voltage, current, efficiency, and temperature. A great PSU also needs flexibility, so the Digifanless has a fully modular cable management with individually sleeved wires.
It is built with Japanese electrolytic 105°C capacitors, heavy-duty MOSFETs, and a high-density array of aluminium heatsinks to ensure the passive cooling and a continuous 24h full power output at 40°C ambient temperature.
European sales are starting in Week 13 right after CeBIT in Hannover, 16th to 20th of March, where the units will be sold for around €200.

If you need a lot of power and it has to come at the best efficiency rating possible, then EVGA might have just the right thing for you with their new Supernova 1600 T2 80Plus Titanium rated 1600 watts power supply. This beast should give about any system all the power it can handle.
The Supernova T2 has a 96% efficiency (on 230volts) with the single 133.3A +12V rail design. It uses a superior vertical double layer main transformer, is built with 100% Japanese capacitors, and the intelligent 140mm fan only spins up on load thresholds. It comes with all the protections you could want in form of OVP (Over Voltage Protection), UVP (Under Voltage Protection), OCP (Over Current Protection), OPP (Over Power Protection), SCP (Short Circuit Protection), and OTP (Over Temperature Protection).
The fully modular PSU has one 24-pin ATX, two 8-pin EPS, nine 6+2 pin PCIe with an additional six 6-pin PCIe for a total of 15 PCIe power connectors, sixteen SATA, six Molex, and two Berg/Floppy connectors. Wow.
As you might have guessed already, a power supply like that won’t come cheap. And you’re right, it has a price tag of $449.99. It does however come with an outstanding 10-year warranty.
