The Apple Watch Has Finally Received Facebook Messenger

The Apple watch was received with open arms by Apple fans from all over the world, and even though the gadget did a great job in syncing up with various iPhones and iPads, its operating system didn’t really support third-party apps. Fortunately, this problem has been solved with the release of WatchOS 2.0, which supports a plethora of applications, including the extremely popular Facebook Messenger. But how do you go about using a chat-related app on such a small screen?

Well, this version of Facebook Messenger allows the user to send and receive stickers, voice clips, emojis and likes, all of which are basically abbreviated interactions. This means that you might not be able to engage in a lengthy conversation using your Apple Watch, but you will be able to reply quickly to messages, albeit with the help of emoticons and stickers. The app also received a few tweaks from Facebook in order to show your conversations and Messenger contacts through spotlight search on iOS 9.WatchOS 2.0 represents a significant improvement over the gadget’s previous operating system, as it allows more direct access to the device’s hardware while ensuring support for new useful features.

Will you be trying out Facebook Messenger on your Apple watch anytime soon?
