Grand Theft Auto V Update 2 Now Available

by - 6 years ago

Rockstar has just released the latest update for Grand Theft Auto V. As we’ve seen since the game was released just last week, there have been a few bugs and performance issues that needed urgently addressing, so it’s really good to see the development team being proactive with these issues and we’re expecting more updates in the coming days and weeks to address the problems people are having.

Unfortunately, the download has only just become available, so there’s no sign of the change log just yet, but you can be certain that we’ll update you as soon as that information becomes available, not to mention testing out the game ourselves to see what impact the update has had.

What we know so far is that the update will download its self via steam. It comes in at 177MB on the Steam platform or 375MB on the Rockstar Games Social Club, although I’ve no idea why one is so much bigger than the other.

The new update is available now and will bring the game version up to v335.1

Stay tuned for more information as soon as we have it.

Have you been playing Grand Theft Auto V this week and have you been having any issues with it? Let us know in the comments section below.

Thank you DSO for providing us with this information.

I managed to go 5 minutes before it crashed again, which is an improvement on 3 minutes I guess!

  • Avatar Rhidz Murrow says:

What is it causing all these crashes, I’m pretty much the only one that NEVER crashes. Either way, a lot of others have been having issues so hopefully this fix will sort that 😀

    • Avatar Asgard says:

There is probably some config corruption going on. I replaced some config files from other player and crashing stopped. I had crashes only when switching character to Michael (which is common crash).

  • Avatar capshot says:

Never crashed for me so far. I’m 40 hours into the game with intel i5/ 16gb ram and nvidia gtx 760

  • Avatar Loki says:

    100+ hours, not a single crash. FX-8320, R9 280X, 8GB RAM

  • Avatar vinny8978 says:

the steam one is probably smaller as steam might do some things that the social club launcher doesn’t
